Salvation is a simple as ... A. B. C. -- Don't make it complicated.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. Luke 10:21 (KJV)
We, new believers, are the babes that Jesus was talking about here. Don't become to too smart or wise and miss this trueth.
A. All persons need salvation.
Each of us has a problem the Bible calls sin. Sin is a refusal to acknowledge God's authority over our lives. Everyone who does not live a life of perfect obedience to the Lord is guilty of sin. Since none of us is perfect, all of us are sinners (Romans 3:10-18).
The result of sin is spiritual death. (Ezekiel 18:4b). Spiritual death means eternal separation from God. By God's perfect standard we are guilty of sin and therefore subject to the punishment for sin, which is separation from God. The Bible says, "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear" (Isaiah 59:2).
B. Because God loves us, He offers us salvation.
Although we have done nothing to deserve His love and salvation, God wants to save us. Jesus Christ is the only answer to our sin problem that separates us from God. Jesus' death on the cross bridged the gap between God and people. The Bible says, "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God" (1 Peter 3:18a).
C. Come to Jesus for salvation.
The desire in your heart to be saved is the Holy Spirit offering you forgiveness of your sin and the gift of eternal life. You can receive a right relationship with God right now if you will:
Admit your need for a Savior.
Be willing to turn from your sins.
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross
and rose from the grave.
Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come into
your life through the Holy Spirit.
Pray a prayer similar to this:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe you died to forgive me of my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite you to come into my life. Thank You for forgiving me of my sin. Thank You for giving me new life. From this day forward, I will choose to follow you."
If you prayed this prayer, share your decision with a Christian friend, Sunday School teacher, pastor, or let us know by sending us an email. (link at bottom of thie page) That we might rejoice with you and send you some helps to start you on your new life in Christ.
Ask to be baptized as a public expression of your faith
Get involved in a church so that you can grow deeper in your faith.
Read your Bible every day to know Christ better.
Talk to God in prayer every day.
And tell others about what Jesus has done for you.

So I love HIM for what HE did for me!
~~~ Because He FIRST loved me. :-) ~~~
We can never be good enough to earn our salvation We never be bad enough to be denied his salvation We must only to choose to accept or reject what he has already done on the cross! That is YOUR CHOICE today.
...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Cor 6:2 (KJV)
Putting off the decision doesn't work either. We are not guarenteed another chance, in fact we are warned by Jesus, himself, that it may never come.
And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Luke 12:16-21 (KJV)
