Are you ready for Christmas? Are you waiting for Santa Claus, presents and reindeer? Is your shopping all done? Are your Christmas cards all sent? It is a busy time of year, so stop, relax and consider the following poem:
‘Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house Not a creature was praying not one in the house. Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care In hopes that Jesus would not come there. The children were dressing to crawl into bed, Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head. And mom in her rocker with baby on her lap Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap. When out of the East there arose such a clatter, I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter. Away to the window, I flew like a flash Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash! When what to my wondering eyes should appear But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here. With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY! The light of His face made me cover my head. It was Jesus! Returning just like He had said. And through I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself. In the Book of Life which He held in His hand, Was written the name of every saved man. He spoke not a word as He searched for my name; When He said "It’s not here" my head hung in shame. The people whose names had been written with love He gathered to take to His Father above. With those who were ready He arose without a sound While all the rest were left standing around. I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight; Oh, if only I had been ready tonight. In the words of this poem the meaning is clear. The coming of Jesus is drawing near. There’s only one life and when comes the last call We’ll find that the Bible was true after all!

If I had to show the true meaning of Christmas in picture form, in today's world, this would be the picture that I would use. It is time to put Jesus Christ back into Christmas. It is HIS Birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESUS!

Every so often I will added an additional web page on the Christmas theme and these will be listed below, Please take the time to look at these pages, too or you will be missing a BIG part of my Christmas messages and thoughts.

This web page and counter were first put up on 11/30/98 and have been put up every Christmas thereafter. They are always up for only about one month and then taken down. In 2000, I decided to leave these pages up year round. Christmas is so much more then just a season. The Christmas message is always the same - Put Christ back into Christmas. These pages might not get the hits that a santa page gets, but its message is still there to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas. Each year, I add another page or two, but I will never change the orginal ones.
If You like this page, please pass this on so they can know the true meaning of Christmas and be ready. He is returning soon.

You might want to look at my web site. :-)
NOTE: Webrings is trying to improve the older navbar system that they inherited from Yahoo. You will see only only one navbar below, but can see the rest of them (if any) by clicking on the view all underneath that navbar. The reason for this change is to help the pages load faster for you.
